RTI Announces Interface with Harvest Distribution and Merchants Foodservice
With new interfaces, restaurants using RTIconnect can now receive eInvoices, order guides, and place eOrders for Harvest Distribution and Merchants Foodservice.
ATLANTA — RTI has expanded its interface capabilities through the addition of supply chain partners Harvest Distribution and Merchants Foodservice. With this enhancement, RTI clients can receive eInvoices, order guides, and place eOrders for these distributors in RTIconnect, RTI’s comprehensive back-office solution.
The eOrdering feature allows for electronic submission of orders to the vendor. Likewise, eInvoices enables managers to receive an electronic copy of an invoice, which includes the exact details of the invoice originated by the vendor. RTIconnect then downloads the eInvoice and verifies that all items on the invoice match the order guide.
“We are excited to partner with these two great foodservice distributors,” said Greg Waddell, Senior Vice President for RTI. “This enhancement is in line with our goal of providing our clients with functionality that affords greater control of each restaurant.”
RTI added this new feature at the request of clients who use RTIconnect to interface with Harvest Distribution and Merchants Foodservice. RTIconnect currently interfaces with 29 major foodservice distributors.
